How to sapa from Hanoi city?

The Sapa town is 38km from Lao Cai city and 376 km from Hanoi city. You can get there by the train or the bus.

By the bus

You can by one ticket from travel agency in Hanoi old town or book online via website: vietnamamazingtours.com. The bus pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old town and departure sapa town.

You can go from Hanoi to Lao Cai by the train and then get a bus to Sapa town. You can buy ticket at Tran Quy Cap station, travel agency and online.

Train schedule:

Hanoi – Lao Cai: The trains departs from Tran Quy Cap station at 10:00 pm and arrive at Lao Cai staition at 6:30 the next morning

Lao Cai – Hanoi: The trains departs from Lao Cai station at 09:05 pm and arrive at Tran Quy Cap staition at 5:30 the next morning

the train rate is very messy. Sometimes you book via web or travel agent better than the purchase ticker from the train company. The stone church

Muong Hoa Valley

Muong Hoa Valley is between the town and the Tonkinese Alps. Muong Hoa Valley is famous as an attractive tourist venue for its charming natural scenery, unique rice terraces along with the hospitable local people. From the distance, the waterfall looks like a white dragon looking down from the sky.From there you can see stunning view of the surrounding mountains and the last forests belonging to Hoang Lien National Park. The sky gate (O QUY HO)

Coc San

Situated in Bat Xat district, 7km from Lao Cai city, Coc San is a majestic natural combo of caves and waterfalls. The road to Crag San is very winding, dark and covered by rocks. It is still wild and natural. If you look carefully, after each waterfall will be a small cave. If you go alone, you can hire a motorbike which cost 7 – 10 usd forn one way. Remember to take the map.  you will have a chance to see the stunning scenery of mountains, rice terraces and villages along the way. You go in a group, hiring a taxi from 15 USD to 20 USD for a one-way trip. You will have to pay some extra money if you want the taxi driver to wait for you and take you back to your hotel.
