Is this trip the right one for you?

  1. This is a trip with the experience of people, culture, and trekking. You need 6-8 hours for trekking and that is hill and mountain roads, so you need to prepare for the trip before.
  2. Weather conditions can affect the trip. So, depending on the weather conditions, we can issue warnings, change the route or that is cancellation a part or the whole tour in very bad weather conditions such as thunderstorms, storms, or typhoons…
  3. With option: sleeping homestay, facilities and services are very basic. There are a few ways to better understand the people, culture, loved nature, manners, and customs of the people ethenic. If you would like to have better accommodation, we recommend that you choose the hotel.
  4. This is a group tour, not a private tour. So, there are many travelers with different nationalities on the trip.
  5. There are many guests of different nationalities on our tour. The number of people in the group will not be fixed. Maybe, there are 2- 5 people or 20 – 25 people.
  6. Children under 5, handicapped people, people with heart diseases or heart problems, or weak fit levels are not advised to join this trip.
  7. We use local guides for the Sapa trip. Not a guide from Hanoi to accompany you from the beginning to the end of the tour. Unless you book a private tour.

Transportation, pick up, and drop off

  • The road is very far from Hanoi to Sapa, about 320 km and it takes about 6 hours. The tour price includes a 2-way shuttle bus. That is a big bus. If you want more comfort and convenience, we recommend choosing the train, private car, or limousine bus. Of course, the cost will be expensive.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa (Lunch)

Morning

The transport will pick you up and take you to Sapa to follow the highway.

Before you get to Sapa, stop in Lao Cai City to see the colorful native clothes of the Hmong, Dzao, and Tay People. The lunch will be served at the local restaurant.

Afternoon
After lunch, take a short hike to Cat Cat Town, which is home to the Black H'mong and is near the bottom of a deep valley near Fansipan Peak. A neighborhood guide will tell you about how people live there every day.

Walk down to the valley to get to the waterfall, where the French built a power station that uses water. Stop to take pictures before going uphill again. The hike is about 3 kilometers long and takes about 2 hours.

Evening: time for yourself to explore Sapa by night.

Overnight in Sapa

Meals included: Lunch

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai Ta Van Village - Hanoi (Breakfast | Lunch)

Morning

Have breakfast at the hotel, and then pack a minimal backpack in preparation for your hike. At the front desk, there is a luggage storage area where you can leave your belongings. You can go on a hike to the village of Lao Chai, which is inhabited by Black Hmong people, by passing through the rice terraces and following the Muong Hoa Streams.

Visit the breathtaking scenery of Hoang Lien Son Mountain before continuing on to Ta Van village, which is the location of the Dzay People's homeland. The hike is somewhere between 9 and 12 kilometers long and takes about 3.5 hours to complete. Your guide will customize the best possible route for the hike based on your level of experience on the trail.

You will be brought back to the main part of Sapa by bus, which will pick you up near the Ta Van Bridge. Have lunch at the hotel and then give yourself some time to wander about on your own.
