The Hoi An Lantern Festival is a once-a-month celebration that takes place in honor of the full moon and involves the release of thousands of paper lanterns into the night sky. If you visit at the correct time, you will be able to participate in this festival. But that's not even the most exciting part! Don't forget to check out the biggest cave system in the world. Phong Nha National Park is exactly what I am talking about. This enormous and intricate cave system was made by an underground river, and it is full of formations that were created by water seeping down from a rainforest that was located above it. Within the world's longest underground corridor, this incredible cave hides an even more extraordinary ecology than it already was.

Arriving in Southern Vietnam and beginning with the sensory assault that is Ho Chi Minh City, a metropolis where traditional businesses coexist with modern skyscrapers on the same street space. After leaving the city, you will come upon the sleepy Mekong Delta, an area of Vietnam where most of the population lives on the water and where arable land extends as far as the eye can see. Mui Ne is well known throughout Vietnam as the kitesurfing center of the country, and it is not very far away. Mui Ne is known for its laid-back beach environment. Off the coast of Vietnam, islands such as Phu Quoc and Con Dao will welcome you with unspoiled scenery and untouched coastlines.
