Ha Giang, Vietnam
Ha Giang lies at the northernmost tip of Vietnam, a land where jagged limestone peaks stretch to the horizon, winding mountain passes skirt deep ravines, and small villages nestle within the valleys. It is a region defined by spectacular routes, rich indigenous culture, and a pristine beauty that sets it apart from Vietnam's more familiar destinations. A three-day, two-night motorbike journey through Ha Giang’s renowned sites offered me wonderful experiences and deep insights into the local culture, lifestyle, and landscapes. There is a unique feeling to riding amidst towering mountains, pausing on a quiet road to listen to the highland winds, and catching sight of a distant village that looks like a painting come to life. Ha Giang is not a place to rush through; it is a place to slow down, to explore, and to let the winding roads lead you closer to an authentic, unspoiled Vietnam.
Amazing memorable Trip
Mekong Delta, Vietnam
A week-long journey along the Mekong River left me with so many wonderful memories. There were days spent navigating the intricate network of canals in Ben Tre, staying overnight at a homestay nestled amidst a coconut grove, and enjoying a dinner filled with delightful local dishes. A day wandering through Chau Doc offered a fascinating glimpse into the river-based lifestyle and boat culture, while the sunset at Sam Mountain was truly breathtaking. Tra Su Cajuput Forest was an unmissable highlight of the trip; it captivates visitors with its lush greenery and shady cajuput canopy, while also offering the chance to get up close to a wide array of bird species and rare wildlife. It was a long journey spanning several provinces, yet it delivered a wealth of engaging local experiences.

Homestay Lolo Chai, Ha Giang
It was neither a high-end hotel with full amenities nor a fancy resort boasting a grand swimming pool. Yet, a simple homestay with earthen walls and basic, rustic furnishings made me fall strangely in love with the place. Amidst the biting cold of Lo Lo Chai Village in Ha Giang, a local family welcomed us warmly; we shared cups of warming corn wine by the glowing hearth and listened to fascinating stories about the people, their lives, and the local landscape. Perhaps it was that very simplicity and rustic charm that left such a deep impression on me.
