Detailed itinerary
The Morning
8:00 to 8:30 car and guide will pick up guests at the hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. then, the group will depart for Hoa Lu Tam Coc. The first place of the journey is ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Two famous temple of unique architectural and historical value feudal Vietnam. Visitors will be heard guides tell interesting stories about kings and together to learn about the architecture of the two temples. Then, you'll move to Tam Coc and have lunch.
The Afernoon
After lunch, rest a little. Then, visitors get on small boats. Ferryman will take guests to visit the scenic landscape of the majestic mountains, the fields in the triangle cups. Continuing the journey, travelers will bike to explore the quaint village, immense plains, rivers or natural rocky countryside of Vietnam. It takes about 1 hour for this choice with a total distance of about 5km. shuttle bus take guests Come back hanoi city. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter about 18:00

We had the most amazing trip. After Tour guide (Mr Alex) pick up everybody at hotel, we departure to Hoa lu. We visited two temples which were nice. He gave us all the information. The countryside ride was beautiful. The buffet lunch was delicious. The 1.5 hours boat ride at Tam Coc. Tam Coc means "Three Caves" and you have to pass these caves along the Ngo Dong River surrounded by mountains and greenery. Hats off to the women who operate the boats. It takes lot of strength and stamina. Thanks Alex.

When staying in Hanoi for a few days this is a good tour to add to see something outside Hanoi. This tour is value for money. It is a full day tour. It might even last a bit longer then indicated due to traffic etc. The tour guide asked us if there was someone in the group that had to be back at a specific timing. Depending on your hotel location in the old quarter the tour will pick you up from the hotel. Some hotels can't be reached by bus. During the ride the guide provided us with all sorts of information. It was good and entertaining. The tour will make a pit stop at a souvenir store/ restaurant when disabled people make all sorts of nice souvenirs of good quality. First attraction is the ancient capital of Hoa Lu with two temples. This was nice to see but a bit crowded since all tours pass this point. Next stop is Tam Coc wharf where you can enjoy an extensive buffet lunch. There really was a lot of food choices. The highlight of the tour is the boat trip through the caves . This is really amazing.It is usually 2-3 persons per boat. The women took you around on this boat trip is superb. Last attraction is a bike ride through the countryside. This is only a short ride. They provide all sorts of bikes. It is best to choose a mountain bike. During the bike ride you can stop to take pictures of the beautiful surroundings. Then the tour returns to Hanoi , the return trip might take a while due to traffic. Overall the tour is value for money and a good choice to do while staying in Hanoi.
